JFS provides scholarships for local boys and girls to attend Jewish summer camps. Scholarships subsidize the cost of attending a Jewish camp and are awarded based on financial need. Priority is given to children who have never had the chance to experience a Jewish summer camp.

Most of the camps are located in Southern California, including the San Bernardino Mountains, Malibu, Ojai and Simi Valley. The camps provide the opportunity for young people to explore being Jewish in today’s world, expand creativity, develop leadership skills, make lasting friendships and experience nature.
