Hanukkah Party for Holocaust Survivors
Jewish Family Service is hosting its sixth annual Hanukkah celebration for area holocaust survivors. It is a time for this diminishing group to come together and celebrate life and the miracles it has to offer. About 30 survivors and their families are expected to attend.
Four local Hadassah groups: Adina, Tamar, Shoshanit HaMidbar and Sun City Hadassah will decorate and serve the food as their Hanukkah Mitzvah.
The luncheon is at noon on Thursday, December 13 at Temple Sinai.
Jewish Family Service aims to provide for the social-service needs of the Jewish and general community throughout the greater Coachella Valley with a commitment to promote the well-being of people of all ages, incomes and lifestyles.
