Jewish Family Service of the Desert has a new, larger satellite office in Palm Desert. The office recently opened near Monterey and Fred Waring.
"We are very excited to open the larger space that will help us better service our clientele who live in the eastern part of the valley," said Dan Bass, JFS executive director.
The larger office space will accommodate counseling services for individuals, couples, families and groups. Licensed clinical social workers, psychologists, and marriage and family therapists will staff the facility.
Jewish Family Service of the Desert has provided social services to the Jewish community, as well as the community at large, for 25 years. People of all ages and income levels benefit from various services, including: counseling, in-home care, meals and transportation for seniors, family education and support groups, emergency loans for unexpected hardships, scholarships for children.
The new satellite office is located at 72925 Fred Waring Drive, Suite 202. The agency’s main office is in Palm Springs Office at 801 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, Suite 202. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call JFS at 325-4088 or log onto www.jfsdesert.org.
