House and Garden Walk set for Sunday, March 9
Tour four unique and lavish Valley homes

The 10th annual “House and Garden Walk,” is set for March 9. The event is one of Jewish Family Service’s largest fundraisers of the year.  Four spectacular homes have been selected for this year’s self-guided tour.

Attendees will be awestruck by a magnificent Mediterranean estate that sits on five acres in the heart of the Coachella Valley. It’s as if you’ve traveled to an exotic island, as you look out to the lush gardens, breathtaking waterfalls, lakes and more.

The tour also includes a rare look into the lives of the Marx family, as a former home to Harpo Marx is included.

A Tamarisk Ridge home showcases the owners’ eclectic array of art, furniture and other décor that they traveled the globe to find for this lavish retreat.

And for those who have a taste for mid-century modern, a minimalist masterpiece awaits. The home combines stone, glass and stainless steel to create a 21st century interpretation of the sought-after style of the 1960s.

Docents at each home provide information and assistance during the tour, which runs from noon to 4 p.m. A limited number of general admission tickets, at $75 each, are on sale now for this historically sold-out event. Sponsor Tickets are also available for $175, which includes a cocktail reception the night before, at a distinguished home not on the tour, plus one ticket to the Walk and recognition in the Program Booklet.

To see the homes or help sponsor the event that helps Jewish Family Service continue the social services it provides to Coachella Valley residents, call JFS at 760-325-4088.
