Welcome to Jewish Family Service of the Desert

Almost four years ago, Michael Childers came to the Board of Directors of Jewish Family Service of the Desert (JFS) with a wonderful offer—to produce One Night Only as a benefit for JFS. Tonight, Michael and JFS have partnered to bring you our fourth sold out production of one of the desert’s most popular events. One Night Only has brought dozens of the most talented performers from Broadway and Hollywood to delight thousands here in the desert. More importantly, the success of One Night Only enables “at risk” school children to receive counseling to succeed in school and homebound seniors to maintain their independence through supportive services. It also means that individuals and families have access to low cost mental health counseling, teens can receive substance abuse counseling, and seniors don’t have to wait in 100 degree heat for a bus ride to the doctor.
