Teen Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) - Bilingual

JFS has a free Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for teens with substance abuse issues.  It is currently the only program of its kind in the Coachella Valley.

IOP programs offer more intensive support and transitioning for those trying to beat drug and alcohol addiction. IOP is also a better alternative for teens who haven’t had results with other outpatient programs.

The teen IOP meetings consist of group therapy, Alateen and family group on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.

In addition, bilingual support is available for parents, allowing them to participate in their child’s treatment more effectively.

The sessions are held in Palm Springs at JFS of the Desert offices, located at 801 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, Suite 202. 

JFS accepts IOP referrals from schools, counselors and the juvenile system, or parents and minor guardians may contact JFS directly for more information and to register their children by calling 325-4088.
